Maintaining independence with walking, avoiding falls or losses or balance, negotiating community obstacles is the primary goal of many patients in rehabilitation. Gait and Balance Disorders can be the result of orthopedic injuries, trauma, neurological conditions, or simply the result of aging. At PTHC, we can help patients with any of these conditions. Our PT’s will evaluate the source of any gait/balance problem, and develop a strategic program to address the deficits that may be present. Gait and Balance Training takes repetition and guidance. Our staff is highly skilled at providing such services. Our goal is to assist patient’s in meeting their goals.
