SPINE & EXTREMITY INJURIES
et spina injuries periclum
We all suffer injuries throughout our lives. Most minor injuries heal without medical intervention. When a spine or extremity injury is beyond the scope of a minor ailment and needs professional help, we are here to assist you. At PTHC, we understand that each patient’s goal is to get back to prior levels of function, regardless of the scope of injury. Our PT’s realize that it isn’t always possible to avoid the actions and postures that result in spine and extremity pain. That’s why our clinicians never limit themselves to one particular mode of therapy.
Research has been shown that many forms of treatment (manipulation/mobilization, massage, stretching) are of questionable benefit when used in an isolated manner. Even body mechanics training and posturing can be ineffective as a stand alone treatment. PTHC clinicians realize the need for a multi-faceted approach to biomechanical disorders. Therefore, our PT’s utilize many treatment approaches, including exercise based therapies, manual (hands-on) therapy, industry proven modalities, biomechanical analysis, neuromuscular re-education, and behavior modification/symptom management training. PTHC can help you resolve and manage your conditions with the right combination of the above treatment options.
